Rycroft got engaged to Dallas insurance agent Tye Strickland on June 26 after they dated on and off for more than two years, PEOPLE has learned.
"He's my best friend," Rycroft, 26, gushed to PEOPLE last April about the 28-year-old agent.
The twosome rekindled their romance after Rycroft's engagement to The Bachelor's Jason Mesnick ended via a televised breakup on the After The Final Rose special on March 2.

Strickland, who was a frequent audience member during Rycroft's season eight Dancing stint, popped the question to the Dallas beauty at White's Chapel in Southlake, Texas. The couple later joined their respective parents for a celebratory meal at the Brio Tuscan Grille before heading out later in the evening to a reception with more family and close friends. No wedding date has been set.
"He is a great home-town boy," Rycroft's DWTS partner Dovolani told PEOPLE of Strickland. "He will love her endlessly."
Rycroft finished second runner-up on the DWTS season finale, but she came out smelling like a rose by landing a summer reporting gig with Good Morning America.
