Mommy Dionisia Pacquiao, inspires Vilma Santos

Mommy Dionisia Pacquiao, inspires Vilma Santos. In Manila Philippines, Star for All Seasons and Batangas Governor Vilma Santos shared that Dionisia Pacquiao, mother of boxing champion Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao, inspires her as she works on her comeback film "In My Life" under Star Cinema.

Her last movie project with Star Cinema was “Dekada ‘70” in 2002. In a press conference last Wednesday for ABS-CBN's television special "Vilma: A Woman For All Seasons," the governor added that she loves Dionisia's frankness.

"I love her. In fact, para ngang naging inspiration ko siya dito sa "In My Life." "Yung kahit anong gustong sabihin ay sasabihin niya," Santos said.

According to Santos, they are still shooting some scenes to complete the film. Santos said they are giving their best to make the film worth watching. Santos said the movie, under the direction of Olivia Lamasan, is a story of a mother who works as a librarian. She eventually finds out about her son's (played by real-life son, Luis Manzano) affair with another guy, a character played by John Lloyd Cruz.

She then faces a lot of problems after a tragedy happens. To make the project more beautiful, most parts of the movie were shot in New York and will be shown in the latter part of 2009.
