Sarah Geronimo cried her idols, ‘King of Pop’ Michael Jackson, passed away. Filipino singer/actress Sarah Geronimo admitted that she cried when one of her idols, King of Pop Michael Jackson, passed away due to cardiac arrest.
When she was young, the Filipino singer divulged that one of her dreams was to perform alongside Jackson. She said she even planned to watch Jackson's concert in London just to get a glimpse of her idol.
"Sobrang taas ng pangarap ko na gusto ko siyang makasama on stage, share the same stage with the King of Pop," she said.
Geronimo, whose favorite Jackson's song is "Man In The Mirror," also shared the best lesson she learned from the “Thriller” star.
"Iyong connection [with the audience]. Parang being able to make them feel, iyong audience mo, na hindi ka performer lang kung hindi isa ka ding human being na you share the same problems, experiences in life. Ganoon kasi si Michael, hindi po ba?" Geronimo said.
Geronimo said she was crying while watching Jackson's public memorial service at Staples Center in Los Angeles, California.
